“Small trade businesses lose their evenings to paperwork. A painter finishes at five, eats, and then sits at the kitchen table until eleven writing quotes he won't get paid for. That's the part of the job nobody chose and nobody can bill. I like building things that hand time back to people who work with their hands. And I like shipping fast — a customer asked me for a feature last month and it was live the next day. I've been building alone for a year. I'd rather do the next year with someone.”
“Commercial, Dutch, and not of Go To Market/sales. My Dutch is average but not good enough for sales for Dutch aannemers — so those conversations don't happen. That is the single biggest hole in the business, and it isn't one I can code my way out of. So: someone who would genuinely enjoy calling thirty painters this month to ask what they need. Someone who has sold to SMEs or ZZP'ers before. Experience in bouw, installatie or the trades is a big plus, but not required. W”
“Anything where AI gives people their time back — and where I get paid for it. Those two aren't in tension: if it doesn't save someone real hours they won't pay, and if nobody pays I can't keep building it. I'm not precious about the sector. What pulls me in is the boring, manual, invisible work that eats people's evenings — the stuff nobody has bothered to automate because it isn't glamorous.”
