Joe Ghantous is a business and design co-founder based in Amsterdam, open to meeting collaborators. Read the three answers below — what motivates them, the kind of partner they want, the business they would build — and reach out directly if it resonates.
“Seeing early-stage founders skip years of trial and error by learning directly from people who’ve already built something. I coordinate Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) in the Netherlands, an EU-funded exchange where new entrepreneurs spend 1 to 6 months working alongside an experienced business owner in another country. I’ve seen what a few months inside a real company can do for someone’s confidence and their business plan, and I want more Dutch founders to get that chance.”
“To be transparent, I’m not looking for a co-founder myself. I’m looking for two kinds of people: founders who are about to launch or launched in the last 3 years and want hands-on experience abroad (with an EU grant covering travel and living costs), and established entrepreneurs with 3+ years running a business who’d like to host an ambitious newcomer and get fresh ideas and market insight in return. If either sounds like you, let’s talk.”
“A Dutch startup scene where every new founder has learned from someone who’s already done it. EYE makes that possible: new entrepreneurs spend 1 to 6 months inside an established business elsewhere in Europe or beyond, and the hosts gain fresh energy, new perspectives and sometimes a long-term partner abroad. My goal is to build as many of those matches as I can, so more Dutch businesses start stronger and grow internationally from day one.”
