Read the three answers below — what motivates them, the kind of partner they want, the business they would build — and reach out directly if it resonates.
“Building things that didn’t exist yesterday. I like to create tools that help people or companies to move forward and make life easier. I care less about technology for its own sake than about business value. In my opinion the biggest wins come from applying existing knowledge well, not from inventing something radically new. I get my energy from taking a messy, real-world problem and turning it into something that works and that people actually use.”
“Someone who looks at things from a business and commercial angle, and spots opportunities I’d miss. I see myself more like a product manager / builder; I spent years in recruitment before moving into software engineering. I’m looking for someone who wants to own the market side, like sales, positioning and talking to customers. A background in HR, HR-tech or B2B SaaS would be a big plus. You enjoy debating ideas, but you also push for decisions and revenue. I currently work full-time, so ideally you’re open to starting this as a side project and growing it as it gains traction.”
“A company that uses technology to remove friction from how organizations find and work with people. After years in recruitment and a switch to software engineering, I’ve seen how much of the process is still manual and repetitive, on both the company and the candidate side. I think today’s AI makes it possible to change that without taking people out of the loop. I’d like to build a B2B product that gives time back to the people doing the work and makes good talent easier to reach.”
