Claas Klompenmaker is a business and marketing co-founder based in Kampen, open to meeting collaborators and willing to put €5k of their own capital on the line. Read the three answers below — what motivates them, the kind of partner they want, the business they would build — and reach out directly if it resonates.
“I like being the person who takes an idea out of the room and puts it in front of customers. In e-commerce, I've learned a lot from hearing why someone didn't buy and then going back to change the offer. When I believe in a project, I go all in. I'm happy to make the extra call, spend an evening figuring out what went wrong, or pick up a job that nobody thought to put on the list. And if I say I'll do something, people can count on me to follow through.”
“I'd love to meet a technical founder who's building something they genuinely care about and wants a commercial partner to build the company with them. You might already have a prototype or a few early users. I'd get close to those users, work out who else has the same problem, and take responsibility for finding customers and making sales. I enjoy working with people who tell me what they really think and are happy for me to do the same. I'd like us both to be involved in the big decisions and to be able to have a laugh when a plan falls apart.”
“I'd like to build a company around a problem people run into often enough that they'd miss the product if it disappeared tomorrow. I'm open on the industry. What draws me in is hearing someone describe a problem they've put up with for years and seeing a way we could make their life easier. I want to start close to the first customers and build something that can grow well beyond the Netherlands. Years from now, I'd like to look back and be proud of the team we built and the way we treated people along the way.”
